The Mathew Foundation and Mathew family have identified the Vellore Christian Medical College (Vellore CMC) Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for the underserved. We are proud to support the legacy of Ida Scudder, CMC Vellore’s founder.

The Mathew Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit, is working with Lumen Vitae, a Catholic organization that provides education, support and mentorship to Haitian youths to realize their dreams and shape the future of their communities. The organization’s mission and values support the same goals that the Mathew Foundation believe in.

The Mathew Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has started The Thomas and May Mathew Educational Scholarship to support students, so that they may in turn continue the mission of the Mathew Foundation to help others. Students from Michigan studying healthcare or education have the chance to submit their applications and essays until June 1, 2024; winners will be announced on July 1, 2024.
